Five Stars – A Sweetest Day to Remember! My husband Walter and I celebrated Sweetest Day with dinner at Rosebud in Munster, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely top notch—our server, Josh, was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the food and the cocktails. He made us feel so welcome and helped guide us through the menu with great recommendations. The food? Amazing. Every bite was delicious and clearly made with care. The drinks were just as impressive—top tier in every way. We also had the pleasure of meeting another server named Rhino. After overhearing him chat with a nearby table, we found out there's a cocktail named after him. Naturally, we had to try it—and we’re so glad we did! It was fantastic and definitely worth ordering. All in all, Rosebud made our Sweetest Day truly special. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Angela & Walter Lewis

What makes this location stand out is its dedication to fresh, carefully prepared dishes. On my last visit, I tried the prime rib cooked to perfection-juicy, tender, and seasoned with just the right blend of herbs. The menu offers a range of options beyond steak, including fresh seafood, chicken dishes, and hearty salads, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. I especially appreciated the seasonal specials; the chef clearly understands how to highlight local ingredients and flavors. Pairing a meal with a selection from their thoughtfully curated wine list adds another layer to the dining experience, and for those who prefer non-alcoholic options, the craft sodas and house-made lemonades are both refreshing and flavorful.
The service at this steakhouse reflects genuine professionalism and friendliness. On one occasion, the server recommended the roasted garlic mashed potatoes, noting they were made fresh daily, which turned out to be one of the best sides I’ve ever had. One particularly memorable experience involved attending a small celebration with friends. The staff went above and beyond, offering helpful suggestions and ensuring our group felt accommodated. The private dining area, though modest, allowed us to enjoy a sense of intimacy while still being part of the restaurant’s lively atmosphere. I had an outstanding experience at Rosebud in Munster, Indiana! From the moment we were seated, the service was exceptional. Our server, Aalysha, truly elevated our dining experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, taking her time to explain each dish and cocktail option with patience and enthusiasm. What impressed me most was her dedication to making sure everything was perfect—she even brought over the bartender to ensure our cocktails were crafted exactly to our liking. Her calm demeanor, compassion, and friendly personality made us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout the entire meal. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the top-notch service from Aalysha made this a memorable visit. We will definitely be returning to Rosebud! Highly recommend.
Visiting from out of town we decided to try Rosebud based on excellent reviews and it DID NOT disappoint! The staff here operates like a well oiled machine and our head waiter Webster provided best in class service! We started with the shrimp cocktail and crab cake- both delectable -I had the petite filet and my husband had the bone in filet both cooked to perfection! Webster recommended the loaded mashed potatoes and they were truly loaded with yummy goodness - we finished with the butter cake and what a delicious finish!! I cannot recommend this location enough! Seating with a reservation was quick and easy!
Just had dinner here and it was absolutely delicious. Our servers name was Josh and he gave us the run down of all the ingredients and new the full menu thoroughly. He was kind, efficient, and informative. Josh's service is one of a kind and we will be returning because of his experience. They have a happy hour menu ( along with full menu) from 3-5pm. Which was just enough for me. I had the Ribeye with Fritata. Ordered Crispy Brick chicken and that was amazing as well. Sides are a la carte but big enough to share between 2-3 ppl.
I would give this place a 4.5. Only dish I didn’t care for that I’ve tried are the Brussels and the last time we went service was a bit rushed but it was a busy night. We have ordered the lobster got, which is delicious. It’s expensive and you don’t get a lot of lobster but man is it good. The steaks are always seasoned well and cooked to our preferred temp. Mac anc cheese, mashed potatoes, and broccoli are delicious. Bread service is great too. Their butter cake is rich and pairs well with the ice cream. I highly recommend this place for when you’re craving a nice steak dinner.
Great service, great food. Perfect steakhouse. I visited with a couple of friends & my son, no complaints at all everything was super great. Will definitely be back. Suitable for all party sizes. It was 9 of us. They have nice prices also, no need to go downtown to steakhouse. Nice vehicles aren’t safe even with valet, this location is perfect
Our server Nick was phenomenal. He was kind, informative and attentive. His recommendations were really good and overall enjoyed our night. Will be back again.
